Amirdovlat Amasiatsi

Amirdovlat Amasiatsi (c. 1420–1496) was a great Armenian physician and pharmacologist who was born in Amasia and served as the personal physician to Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II. Traveling throughout the Middle East, he mastered the medical science of his time and left behind a vast scientific heritage written in Middle Armenian. His primary works include the manuals Instruction in Medicine and The Benefit of Medicine, dedicated to treating diseases, as well as his masterpiece encyclopedia, Useless for the Ignorant, which describes more than 3,500 medicines in five languages.

Ամիրդովլաթ Ամասիացին (մոտ 1420–1496) հայ մեծագույն բժշկապետն ու դեղագետն է, ով ծնվել է Ամասիայում և եղել է օսմանյան սուլթան Մեհմեդ II-ի անձնական բժիշկը։ Ճամփորդելով Մերձավոր Արևելքում՝ նա յուրացրել է ժամանակի բժշկագիտությունը և թողել միջին հայերենով գրված հսկայական գիտական ժառանգություն։ Նրա հիմնական աշխատություններն են հիվանդությունների բուժմանը նվիրված «Ուսումն բժշկության» ու «Օգուտ բժշկության» ձեռնարկները, ինչպես նաև նրա գլուխգործոցը համարվող «Անգիտաց անպետ» հանրագիտարանը, որտեղ հինգ լեզվով նկարագրված են ավելի քան 3500 դեղամիջոցներ։

Anahid Doniguian

Anahid Doniguian is a celebrated Armenian culinary expert, author, and educator whose work bridges traditional Middle Eastern flavors and international modern cuisine. Born in Beirut in 1946, she initially studied fine arts before graduating from Peter Kump’s Culinary Institute in New York. Over her prolific career, she has written 19 multilingual cookbooks—including the iconic Armenian classic Hamov Hodov and the award-winning Anahid’s Gourmet Cookbook—and operated the Cookin’ Art Culinary Institute in Lebanon. Beyond her writing and various television appearances, she has preserved cultural heritage as a consultant, notably shaping menus for royal kitchens and serving as the creative force behind Lusin, the first Armenian restaurant franchise in Saudi Arabia.

Անահիտ Տօնիկեան հայ խոհարարական փորձագէտ, հեղինակ եւ կրթական մշակ է, որուն գործունէութիւնը կը կամրջէ Միջին Արեւելքի աւանդական համերն ու միջազգային ժամանակակից խոհանոցը։ Ծնած է Պէյրութ, իսկ աւելի ուշ աւարտած է Նիւ Եորքի Peter Kump’s Culinary Institute խոհարարական հիմնարկը։ Իր ասպարէզի ընթացքին ան հեղինակած է բազմալեզու 19 խոհագիրքեր, որոնց շարքին են հայկական դասական դարձած «Համով Հոտով»-ը եւ մրցանակակիր Anahid’s Gourmet Cookbook-ը։ Իր հեռուստատեսային ելոյթներէն անդին, ան որպէս խորհրդատու ստանձնած է արքայական խոհանոցներու ճաշացուցակներու պատրաստութիւնը եւ հանդիսացած Սէուտական Արաբիոյ մէջ առաջին հայկական ճաշարաններու ցանցին՝ «Լուսին»-ին (Lusin) գաղափարական ստեղծագործ ուժը։
