Soghomon Tehlirian (1896–1960) was an Armenian national hero born in the village of Verin Bagarich near Baghesh (Bitlis). After losing his family during the Armenian Genocide, he joined Operation Nemesis, a covert mission organized to punish the primary architects of the genocide. On March 15, 1921, in Berlin, Tehlirian shot and killed Talaat Pasha, the former Ottoman Minister of Interior. Following moving testimonies about the horrors of the genocide, a German court acquitted him. He spent his final years in the United States and is buried in Fresno’s Ararat Cemetery.
Սողոմոն Թեհլիրեանը (1896–1960) հայ ազգային հերոս է, որ ծնած է Բաղեշի Վերին Բագառիճ գիւղը: Մեծ Եղեռնի ընթացքին կորսնցնելով իր ընտանիքը՝ ան միացած է «Նեմեսիս» գործողութեան, որուն նպատակն էր պատժել Հայոց Ցեղասպանութեան գլխաւոր կազմակերպիչները: 15 Մարտ 1921-ին, Պերլինի մէջ, Թեհլիրեան գնդակահարած է Օսմանեան Կայսրութեան նախկին ներքին գործոց նախարար Թալէաթ Փաշան: Գերմանական դատարանը, լսելով ցեղասպանութեան մասին վկայութիւնները, զինք արդարացուցած է: Կեանքի վերջին տարիները անցուցած է Ամերիկայի Միացեալ Նահանգներ եւ թաղուած է Ֆրեզնոյի «Արարատ» գերեզմանատան մէջ:
