Agop Jack Hacikyan (1931–2015) was a prominent Canadian-Armenian scholar, novelist, and professor emeritus of English literature at the Royal Military College of Canada. Born in Istanbul, he immigrated to Canada in 1957, later earning a Ph.D. from the Université de Montréal. He achieved international acclaim as the co-author and driving force behind The Heritage of Armenian Literature, a monumental three-volume anthology that stands as the definitive English-language compilation of Armenian literary history. Hacikyan was also a prolific historical novelist, penning celebrated works such as A Summer Without Dawn and The Battle of the Prophets, which brought the Armenian diaspora experience to global audiences.

Adiss Harmandian (1945–2019) was a legendary Lebanese-Armenian singer, songwriter, and composer widely celebrated as the pioneer of estradayin, a genre of Armenian popular music that blended traditional melodies with contemporary Western pop influences. Born in Beirut to survivors of the Armenian Genocide, he catapulted to fame in the 1960s with his breakthrough hit single “Dzaghigner” (“Flowers”), quickly becoming an international household name across the Armenian diaspora. Over a career spanning five decades, Harmandian released approximately 40 albums and 400 tracks—including timeless classics like “Nouné” and “Karoun Karoun”—which served as a vital cultural bridge, preserving the Western Armenian language and strengthening national identity for a displaced global population. During the Lebanese Civil War, he relocated to Los Angeles, California, where he continued to perform and compose until his passing from cancer at age 74. For his extraordinary contributions to music and diaspora culture, he was honored with the prestigious St. Mesrob Mashdots Medal in 2005.

Ատիս Հարմանտեան (1945–2019) լիբանանահայ լեգենդար երգիչ, եւ երգահան էր, որ լայնօրէն կը ճանչցուի իբրեւ էսդրադային երաժշտութեան ռահվիրան։ Այս ժանրը հայկական ժողովրդական մեղեդիները կը միախառնէր արեւմտեան փոփ երաժշտութեան ժամանակակից ազդեցութիւններուն հետ։ Ծնած ըլլալով Պէյրութ՝ Հայոց Ցեղասպանութենէն վերապրածներու ընտանիքի մէջ, ան 1960-ականներուն մեծ հռչակ ձեռք բերաւ իր «Ծաղիկներ» երգով՝ արագօրէն դառնալով միջազգային ճանաչում ունեցող անուն մը համատարած հայկական սփիւռքին մէջ։ Աւելի քան հինգ տասնամեակ տեւած իր ասպարէզին ընթացքին, Հարմանտեան թողարկեց մօտաւորապէս 40 ալպոմ եւ 400 երգ՝ ներառեալ այնպիսի անմահ գործեր, ինչպէս՝ *«Նունէ»*ն եւ *«Գարուն Գարուն»*ը, որոնք ծառայեցին իբրեւ կենսական մշակութային կամուրջ՝ պահպանելով արեւմտահայերէնը եւ զօրացնելով ազգային ինքնութիւնը աշխարհասփիւռ հայութեան համար։ Լիբանանի քաղաքացիական պատերազմի տարիներուն ան տեղափոխուեցաւ Լոս Անճելըս, Քալիֆորնիա, ուր շարունակեց երգել եւ ստեղծագործել մինչեւ քաղցկեղի պատճառով իր մահը՝ 74 տարեկան հասակին։ Երաժշտութեան եւ սփիւռքի մշակոյթին բերած իր բացառիկ ներդրումին համար, 2005-ին ան պարգեւատրուեցաւ Սուրբ Մեսրոպ Մաշտոց պատուոյ նշանով։
