Alidz Agbabian

I was born in the historic city of Aleppo in northern Syria and grew up in Beirut, Lebanon. For many centuries Arabs, Armenians, Assyrians, Jews, Kurds and other nationalities have lived in these cities as neighbors, business partners, friends and relatives. The sounds, smells, colors of the souks of Aleppo as well as the voices of the street peddlers echoing through the narrow cobblestone streets of the old city are still alive in me today. Lebanon–the land of the ancient Phoenicians, an international crossroad, where east meets west on the shores of the blue Mediterranean–has been my patrimony as a diasporan Armenian.\

Aline Bezdikian-Shirajian

ԱԼԻՆ ՊԶՏԻԿԵԱՆ-ՇԻՐԱՃԵԱՆ ծնած է Լիբանան եւ ներկայիս իր ընտանիքին հետ կ’ապրի Կլենտէյլ, Քալիֆորնիա:  Ան կը զբաղի ուսուցչութեամբ եւ գրականութեամբ: Հեղինակ է մանկական երգերու, մասնակցած է թատերական եւ մշակութային աշխատանքներու. զբաղած է թղթակցութեամբ եւ եղած է հաղորդավարուհի հեռատեսիլի հաղորդումներու: Հեղինակը ունի երկու զաւակ՝ Լորի եւ Նարեկ, որոնք իր պատմուածքներուն գլխաւոր հերոսներն են:

Aline Koroukian

Aline Koroukian is an Armenian cookbook author and culinary entrepreneur based in the United Arab Emirates. She is widely recognized for her efforts to preserve and celebrate her culinary heritage by adapting traditional recipes for contemporary home cooks. Koroukian is the author of Aline’s Bouquet of Sweets (2012), an anthology comprising 100 international dessert and traditional Armenian pastry recipes. She followed this success with Aline’s Cuisine (2016), a comprehensive volume featuring 180 authentic Armenian and international dishes, complete with step-by-step cooking guides, helpful tips, and vibrant food photography. Her publications are frequently featured across major diaspora platforms, and she routinely hosts prominent regional book signings and launching events.

Alice Ketabgian

ALICE KETABGIAN was born and raised in Istanbul , Turkey and is a descendent of Genocide Survivors. She received her childhood education from Aramyan Ounchiyan elementary school in Kadikoy, followed by a high school education at Uskiidar Amerikan Kiz Lisesi in Uskiidar. Upon arrival in Southern California in 1962, she attended La VerneCollege for two years and transferred to UCLA to receive an M.S. in Human Physiology from the School of Medicine in 1968. With a newly-revived interest in Armenian history and literature, she translated Anneannem of Fethiye Cetin to English in 2006 (unpublished). An account of her Pilgrimage to Historic Armenia was published in the Armenian Observer the same year.
