Norayr Adalyan (born July 30, 1936, in Simferopol) is a well-known Armenian prose writer, playwright, literary critic, Doctor of Philological Sciences, and a Honored Cultural Worker of Armenia. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology at Yerevan State University, worked for many years at the Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, and served as the editor-in-chief of Grakan Tert (Literary Newspaper). Adalyan is a multi-genre writer whose works include short stories, novels, novellas, and dramas (such as Do Not Look Back, Peaceful Barracks, and Anthill), in which he examines human psychology, social realities, and vital national issues in a unique literary style.

Նորայր Ադալյանը (ծնված 1936 թ. հուլիսի 30-ին, Սիմֆերոպոլ) ճանաչված հայ արձակագիր, դրամատուրգ, գրականագետ, բանասիրական գիտությունների դոկտոր և Հայաստանի մշակույթի վաստակավոր գործիչ է։ Նա ավարտել է Երևանի պետական համալսարանի բանասիրական ֆակուլտետը, երկար տարիներ աշխատել է ՀՀ ԳԱԱ գրականության ինստիտուտում և եղել է «Գրական թերթի» գլխավոր խմբագիրը։ Ադալյանը բազմաժանր գրող է, ում ստեղծագործությունները ներառում են պատմվածքներ, վեպեր, վիպակներ և դրամաներ (ինչպիսիք են «Ետ մի նայիր», «Խաղաղ զորանոցներ» և «Մրջնանոց» գործերը), որոնցում նա ուրույն ոճով քննում է մարդկային հոգեբանությունը, սոցիալական ու ազգային կենսական խնդիրները։
