Role: Author

Viken Berberian is a novelist and author of The Cyclist and Das Kapital. He has written for The New York Times, the Financial Times and the Los Angeles Times. For the past five years he has lived and worked in Manhattan, Paris and Marseille.

As this story was unfolding, Vickie Smith Foston received a Master's Degree in Sociology from California State University, Sacramento. She lives in Northern California with her three daughters, where she works in the field of education and operates a research business named in honor of her grandmother's memory.
