ARMINE C. KOUNDAKJIAN was born in Iran. She is a chemist by profession. For many years she taught in that field. She is active in Armenian-American politial and cultural life and is a member of various organizations. Since 1991, she resides in Yerevan part of the year. She has a strong interest in Armenian Studies and has produced various educational Armenian games.

ԱՐՄԻՆԷ ԿԱՐԱՊԵՏԵԱՆ-ԿՈՒՆԴԱԿՋԵԱՆը ծնվել է Իրանում: Մասնագիտությամբ քիմիկոս է և գիտական կրթության մեթոդիստ-ասպիրանտ: Տարիներ շարունակ դասավանդել է իր մասնագիտությամբ: Գործուն մասնակցություն ունի և ամերիկահայ գաղթօջախը քաղաքական ու մշակութային կյանքում: Անդամակցում է ամերիկյան զանազան գիտական ու հասարակական կազմակերպությունների: 1991 թվականից անընդմեջ, յուրաքանչյուր տարի ամիսներով բնակվում է Երևանում՝ իր տանը: Խիստ հետաքրքրված է հայագիտությամբ ու հայ ազգին հուզող ամեն տեսակ հարցերով: Հեղինակ է խաղերի տեսքով մի քանի հայերեն ուսումնական օժանդակ դասավանդման նյութերի:

 

Armine Ishkanian is a Lecturer at the London School of Economics (LSE) Centre for Civil Society, Department of Social Policy and a Research Associate at the LSE Centre for the Study of Global Governance. Her research interests focus on civil society, democracy building, development, and gender.
