ԳՐԻՇ ԴԱՎԹՅԱՆ, բանաստեղծ և խմբագիր, ծնվել է 1935թ. Նոր Ջուղա, Իրան։ Տարրական և միջնակարգ կրթությունը ստացել է ծննդավայրում։  Բարձրագույն կրթությունը ստացել է Մեծ Բրիտանյաում.  1964-65-ին եղել է «Արեգակ» ամսագրի հիմնադիր խմբագիրը Լոնդոնում։ 1968-ին ամուսնացել և ուենցել երկու զավակներ։ Զբաղումով աշխատել է միջազգային առևտրի ասպարեզում, իրացնելով ներածումեր և արտածումներ.1969-1986 թթ Իրանում, ապա 1988-1999 թթ, Լոս Անջելես, Կալիֆորնիա, ԱՄՆ: Այժմ անդամակցում է Կալիֆորնիայի Հայ Գրողների Միությանը. եղել է միության փոխնախագահ 2003-2005, ապա նախագահ։

Gregory Ketabgian is a retired physician born in Aleppo, Syria, to Armenian Genocide survivors. He received his initial education in Aleppo College and later a B.A. at UCLA and medical education and specialty training at the University of Southern California. He had a private practice in Pasadena, California, for 35 years where he cared for waves of Armenian immigrants escaping the catastrophes in Soviet Armenia, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq and Turkey. Presently he has become fascinated by the stories that we all have that deserve to be told and preserved. He has written and lectured on "Thomas Christie of Tarsus College", "The Adana Massacre: A Psychosocial Study" and "Armenian Survivors on the Titanic".
