MARI FIRKATIAN is a professor of history at the University of Hartford in Connecticut. She teaches Western Civilization and Global History. She has been a Fulbright Scholar and a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellow as well as a Yale University Fellow. She has lived and traveled extensively in Southeast Europe and the Soviet Union. With a formal background in linguistics and history, Firkatian’s research interests include minority populations, diplomatic history and intellectual history. 

Marcella Polain is a lecturer in the writing program at Edith Cowan University. She was a founding editor for the national poetry journal Blue Dog, has been poetry editor for Westerly, and was inaugural editor for the journal Indigo. Her first poetry collection, Dumbstruck, won the Anne Elder Prize; her second, Each Clear Night, was short-listed for the West Australian Premier’s Poetry Prize.

ՄԱՐՏԻԿ ՄԱՏԷՆՃԵԱՆ ծնած է Լիբանան 1915-ի ցեղաuպանութենէն փրկուած Չէփնիցի (Աեբաստիա) ծնողներէ։ Գալիֆորնիա գաղթեց 1986-ին եւ հաստատուեցաւ Փասատենայի մէջ, ուր կ՛ապրի կնոջր եւ երկու զաւակներուն հետ։ Ապրիլ 2013-ին, հրատարակեց եռահատոր գրքին առաջին մասր — «Բռնագրաւուած Դրախտր, Բռնագաղթ Դէպի Ոչնչութիւն», որ իր անգլերէն հրատարակելի գրքին՝ Ravished Paradise, Forced March to Nothingness, հայերէն թարգմանութիւնն էր իր կողմէ։ 2013 Հոկտեմբերին հրատարակեց «Նոր Օրերուտայիներ, Լիբանանի Մեր Տղաքր» վաւերագրական ժամանակագրութիւնր Լիբանանի քսանամեայ պատերազմին։ Մայիս 2014-ին հրատարակեց եռահատոր «Բռնագարաւուած Դրախտ»ին երկրորդ հատորն՝ «Մեր Հողերր, Մեր Հողերր–», խորագրով, որ Լիբանան կամ Սուրիա հաստատուած Հայոց պատմութիւնն է։ Վերապրումր ապահովելով հանդերձ, 1965-էն ետք, հայութիւնր կը ձգտի պահանջատիրութեան եւ ցեղասպանութեան ճանաչման։

Margaret Ajemian Ahnert was born in New York City. Growing up, she listened to her mother's stories about her own childhood during the Armenian genocide in Turkey. She has an MFA from Goucher College and a BA from Goddard College, and is a graduate of the Barnes Foundation. She has pursued a variety of careers: producing television documentaries, lecturing as a docent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and teaching art appreciation through the Art Goes to School program in elementary schools. Ahnert holds a 100-ton master captain's license and is an avid hunter and fisherwoman. The Knock at the Door is her first book.
