Includes a full size folded map of Artsakh. Folds out to 26" x 38" The collection “Monasteries and Churches of Artsakh” is based on the materials of an archaeological reconnaissance expedition on registration, certification and zoning of historical and cultural monuments of the Republic of Artsakh. The activities of the expedition launched in 2008 and were financed by the Artsakh government. In 2014, in Yerevan, the “Antares” Publishing House released the first edition in Armenian of the collection “Map-Album: Monasteries and Churches of Artsakh”, which includes 385 names of monuments. The current, second, revised and enlarged edition, containing 421 names of monuments, has been translated into English and Russian with a grant from the Armenian General Benevolent Union.
