Vachagan A. Sargsyan is a well-known Armenian writer, translator, educator, and publisher. Born on May 25, 1951, he graduated from Yerevan State University and later founded and edited the popular weekly newspaper “9-rd Hrashalik” (9th Wonder). He is the author of numerous school textbooks, including the widely used Armenian Alphabet book “Aybbenaran,” and has been a member of the Writers’ Union of Armenia since 2007. For his significant contributions to education and culture, Sargsyan has been awarded the Gold Medal of the Ministry of Education and Science and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Prime Minister of Armenia.
Վաչագան Ա. Սարգսյանը ճանաչված գրող, թարգմանիչ, մանկավարժ և հրատարակիչ է։ Ծնվել է 1951 թվականի մայիսի 25-ին, ավարտել Երևանի պետական համալսարանը, ապա հիմնադրել ու խմբագրել «9-րդ հրաշալիք» շաբաթաթերթը։ Նա հեղինակ է բազմաթիվ դպրոցական դասագրքերի, այդ թվում՝ հանրահայտ «Այբբենարանի», իսկ 2007 թվականից հանդիսանում է Հայաստանի գրողների միության անդամ։ Իր գիտակրթական և մշակութային մեծ վաստակի համար Սարգսյանը պարգևատրվել է ՀՀ ԿԳՆ ոսկե հուշամեդալով և ՀՀ վարչապետի շնորհակալագրով։
