Nora Kayserian is an Istanbul-born Armenian-American children’s book author, counselor, and community activist. An alumna of the AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School in California, she spent three years working in Armenia—where she founded the SheFighter Armenia women’s self-defense program—before returning to her alma mater as a college counselor. Driven by a passion for cultural representation, she authored her debut book, Անպարտելի Զապէլը (The Unstoppable Zabel), a Western Armenian picture-book biography celebrating the legendary intellectual Zabel Yesayan. Developed in collaboration with creators from Armenia, this project aims to provide young generations with historical, empowering female role models from their own heritage.
