Karo Vardanyan is a well-known writer, literary scholar, and public-cultural figure who has been awarded the title of Honored Worker of Art of Armenia. For many years, he served as the director of the Charents Museum of Literature and Arts in Yerevan. Vardanyan has authored 9 books and numerous articles, among which his works dedicated to the life of General Andranik and the history of the Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia (ASALA) hold special importance. He is also known as the author of lyrics for dozens of songs and anthems.
Կարո Վարդանյանը ճանչցուած գրող, գրականագետ եւ հասարակական-մշակութային գործիչ է, որ արժանացած է Հայաստանի արուեստի վաստակաւոր գործիչի կոչման: Ան երկար տարիներ վարած է Երեւանի Չարենցի անուան գրականութեան եւ արուեստի թանգարանի տնօրէնի պաշտօնը: Վարդանյանը հեղինակած է 9 գիրք ու բազմաթիւ յօդուածներ, որոնց շարքին յատուկ կարեւորութիւն ունին Զօրավար Անդրանիկի կեանքին եւ Հայաստանի ազատագրութեան հայ գաղտնի բանակի (ASALA) պատմութեան նուիրուած իր աշխատութիւնները: Ան ծանօթ է նաեւ որպէս տասնեակ երգերու եւ օրհներգերու տեքստերու հեղինակ:
