Dr. Emma Chookaszian is a prominent scholar, medievalist, and expert in Armenian miniature painting and manuscript culture. She earned her Ph.D. in Medieval History and Art History from Paul Valéry University, Montpellier, and currently serves as a professor of art history at the American University of Armenia. Throughout her career, she has authored around 30 peer-reviewed articles and two notable monographs focusing on the Gospels of Prince Vasak and Queen Keran. Her extensive research has been supported by prestigious fellowships, including the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation global excellence grant and a global excellence grant from the French government.

Էմմա Չուգասզյանը անվանի գիտնական, միջնադարագետ և հայկական մանրանկարչության ու ձեռագրային մշակույթի փորձագետ է։ Նա արվեստի պատմության դոկտորի կոչում է ստացել Մոնպելյեի Պոլ Վալերի համալսարանից և այժմ դասավանդում է Հայաստանի ամերիկյան համալսարանում։ Իր գործունեության ընթացքում նա հեղինակել է շուրջ 30 գիտական հոդված և երկու մենագրություն՝ նվիրված Վասակ իշխանի և Կերան թագուհու Ավետարաններին։ Նրա հետազոտություններն արժանացել են հեղինակավոր կրթաթոշակների, այդ թվում՝ Գալուստ Գյուլբենկյան հիմնադրամի գլոբալ գերազանցության դրամաշնորհին։
