Historian specializing in the late Ottoman Empire and modern Turkey. He was a founding director of the Gomidas Institute, and has edited and written critical introductions to several of the institute’s publications. Now director of the Taderon Press, he is developing the Sterndale Classics imprint. \

ARA GHAZARIANS is the curator of the Armenian Cultural Foundation.  He has translated and edited nine books.  His articles as well as bibliographical works on various subjects and periodicals have appeared in Armenian periodicals and journals.

ANTHONY SLIDE has published over seventy pioneering works on film history, among them the first volumes dealing exclusively with early American cinema, the Vitagraph Company, and film preservation. In 1990, he was awarded an honorary doctorate of letters by Bowling Green University.
