Yuri Sahakyan is one of the best-loved children’s poets in contemporary Armenia. He is the author of more than forty booklets for children. Many of his poems have become songs. The poet has also translated poems of different nations into Armenian, but his works are translated into English for the first time. His poetry has deep philosophy, where the author underlines people’s faulty shortcomings with kind humor. His works are read with pleasure by children and adults.\

William Emery Justice, a fourth-generation Kansan, attended the University of Kansas, where he studied Russian literature and language, German literature, and religion. He worked as a farm laborer, a pizza maker, a vacuum salesman (he didn’t sell a single machine), a roofer, a doughnut fryer, a bookbinder, a convenience store clerk (third shift), a copyist, and a video store clerk before joining Heyday Books. He co-edited California Uncovered: Stories for the 21st Century (also published by Heyday Books) and is writing a novel placing Orpheus in a mythical Kansas.

Vincent Lima is the editor of the Armenian Reporter, an independent newsweekly published by CS Media Enterprises LLC. Since the early 1990s, Lima has had a high profile in the Armenian-American community as an editor and public intellectual. He edited the scholarly journal Armenian Review from 1989 to 1996. He started Armenian Forum: A Journal of Contemporary Affairs, which he coedited with Ara Sarafian. He has served as director of the Gomidas Institute. \
