Yura Movsisyan is a retired professional soccer player and one of the most iconic forwards in Armenian football history. At 12, Yura immigrated to the United States with his family, rising from humble beginnings to become a beloved figure in Armenian sport. Drafted 4th overall in the MLS SuperDraft - the highest pick ever straight from a community college - he went on to a decorated career in the U.S., Denmark, Russia, and Sweden, winning titles, breaking records, and proudly representing Armenia internationally. Since retiring, Yura has dedicated himself to mentoring young athletes -guiding them to grow in sport and in life. His passion for inspiring others drives this book, written to give back, uplift, and remind every dreamer that no matter how distant, dreams can come true. Today, Yura lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Marianna, and their three children: Arman, Aida, and Rita. A devoted father and respected mentor, he continues to serve as a leader in his community and as an official FFA ambassador for Armenian football in North America.
